The dog days of summer are behind us, the throngs of summer tourists are squeezing in their last warm trips before the kids, well truthfully the parents, are ready for school to begin again.
At IRES, we are on a continuous mission to learn and relearn what it takes to succeed as YOUR MLS. We’ve been spending more time in the field, meeting with our Subscribers near and far.
It’s an Interesting Thing, the MLS.
It’s under attack from both legal pressures and technological ones.
There may be some of you that relish the simpler times of MLS books (we still have them), carbon copy forms and fax machines. Maybe you struggle with tech, maybe you struggle with the volume of information, maybe you struggle with the pace of business today or the swings in the market.
Without a doubt, the world moves ahead and influences what we do as an industry whether we are ready or not.

IRES is here today because of bold bets in the past to embrace new ideas, a “can do” mentality of building when we were not happy with what we could buy, and of innovating to meet the needs of you, our Subscriber.
The tricky part is that you are not the same as our other thousands of other Subscribers. You all have different needs, wants and likes. Even with your differences, each of you rely on IRES to help your business thrive by creating an efficient marketplace for your buyers and sellers.
That’s why I am humbled and honored that a significantly larger number of you than last year took the time out of your busy schedules to participate in the WAV Group’s MLS Customer Experience Survey. I’m also proud of our team. While sharing your experiences, the good and a few not so good, you rated IRES higher than 2022 in every category the survey measures.
We Are Listening to You!
Later this year we will know and can share more about how we rank among our peers, but until then I want you to know we are listening. We are looking at how we evolve and advance with your needs in mind as we navigate the pressures on the industry today and the rapid technological advancements poised to reshape our business and our lives in the very near future.
