Continued Access to REcolorado Listing Data
We’re excited to share that as of August 16, we have an updated formal data
sharing agreement in place with REcolorado. While you’ve had access to
REcolorado listing data for the last several years, the purpose of this agreement is
to ensure you continue to have access in the future, providing stability at a time
when our industry is evolving more quickly than ever.
Five Years Historical Data
In addition to active residential listings, this agreement covers historical listing
data going back five years. Both parties also want to add access to commercial
listings in the future.
No New Learning Curves
There won’t be any changes in how you view data – it’ll still be the intuitive, easy
process you use now. So, this agreement brings more benefits for you, without
creating any new learning curves.
Respective Services
In reaching this agreement, IRES and REcolorado have agreed to operate their
respective services in compliance with the NAR settlement and its prohibition of
sharing offers of compensation on the MLS. We are taking our compliance
responsibilities very seriously in order to protect the MLS and our subscribers
from adverse consequences of violating the settlement terms.
The Bottom Line
Bottom line, this is great news for our subscribers, the Colorado real estate
industry and ultimately for Northern Front Range customers.
