IDX FAQ for Vendors

How do I become an IDX vendor?

In order to be considered as an IDX vendor the required Data License Agreement will need to be completed through The MLS Grid, the platform used for Web API data access. For information on how to sign up with Grid, visit their Data Consumer Access information.

Please know, you are required to have at least one IRES MLS subscribing broker requesting the data feed / your services.  All data access, agreements and billing is handled directly in The Grid platform.

What is the fee to become a vendor?

Please visit our Data Feed Fee Structure page for current pricing.

Can you bill the agent instead of the vendor?

The data feed must be set up through the third party vendor/web developer and for that reason the billing is required to go directly to the vendor.  Unfortunately, we are unable to bill a broker instead of a vendor.

Is IDX the only type of feed you offer?

While IDX is our most popular download, we also offer Back Office and VOW (Virtual Office Website) feeds.

What type of download do you use for your feeds?

We offer Web API through The MLS Grid platform as our RESO Data Dictionary certified data delivery mechanism.

I see you require tracking metrics – how do I complete the implementation of ListTrac?

You would register on the ListTrac website which will provide you with the implementation guidelines. If you are not available in their vendor list, you are instructed to reach out to ListTrac to add your company to the list.

Who do I contact for support with my data feed?
