Staff Highlight: Rachel

Would you tell us a little about your role at IRES?

I am part of the Customer Support team at IRES. I get to help our Subscribers with any needs or issues they are having throughout the week.

What led you to work with IRES?

I was looking for a second job and came on to IRES as a temp to help the team wherever they needed me. I loved the work and was happy to get offered a full-time position.

What is your favorite part of your role?

I love that I’m always learning something new, getting to help people and that I get to work with an amazing team.

Tell me something about you that most people wouldn’t expect?

I’m on a mission to find the best cinnamon roll in Northern Colorado. Mystic Moon Bakery is currently 1 out of 10 on my list.

Do you have any favorite hobbies or pastimes?

I enjoy going out and doing things with my 4-year-old. We love going camping, hiking, and checking out local events. We took a trip this year to the Great Sand Dunes and had a blast sand sledding.

I also have a serious sweet tooth and love to bake. This led me to start an e-commerce bakery so I can share my love of baking with others.

What is your favorite food?

 
It’s hard to pick a favorite food, I’ve yet to have a dessert I didn’t like, but ignoring my sweet tooth it would have to be tacos.

The views and endless number of outdoor activities to enjoy.

What small thing do you do to try to make the world a better place? 

I try to have a positive attitude and to treat everyone with kindness and raise my son to do the same.
